The Empire wrote every page of history with our blood. The final chapter is ours to write.
Land. Air. Water. Food. Fire. Home. Family. Memory.
These are not privileges granted by civilisation. They are conditions of existence itself.
We are not going anywhere. We are bound to this planet and have nowhere else to live. No amount of development will save us from ourselves. No progress will carry us beyond our humanity. No heaven awaits to rescue us. No hell awaits to punish us. Everything happens here on Earth, by humanity, for humanity and to humanity.
We are both demons and angels. We create the cages in which we suffer, the gods before whom we kneel, the empires that consume us and the memories that might outlive them.
There is no escape from existence. There is only the choice of how and why to live.
Choose your god. Choose your morality. Choose your ethics. Choose your history. Choose your destiny. Choose the reality through which you understand your existence.
Your choices are inextricably linked to the world you create. They are the world you create.
This is Wonesis: recognising the cage, questioning the reality that built it and remembering the land beneath our feet.
The Empire may have written our past. But it does not own our memory. It does not own our existence. And it will not write our final chapter.
The final page is ours.
